Tommy began playing the guitar in 1969 at age 16. His professional career began in 1974, first as a lead singer and a bit later as a guitarist. Some of his former bands include Dixie Flier, Madness, Gladstone Parnell, The Blue Sparks From Hell, The Indiana Band and Molly Nova And The Hawk. In 2002 Tommy co-arranged and played guitar on all tracks on Molly Nova’s debut CD “Another Shade Of Blue’, which subsequently won Best Blues Recording at the 2003 Minnesota Music Awards. He has also been a contributor to Premier Guitar Magazine/ Tommy has had more than twenty original songs covered or recorded by various regional artists over the last 30 years. He has also opened for dozens of national artists. Recently,Tommy lent his guitar to two cuts on Gayla Drake Paul’s new CD “GDP Plus 3”.Tommy continues to write and perform original songs as a solo artist and occasionally with percussionist Rob Wallace. He also tours as a permanent member of PastMasters, a high-energy dance/show band.
